About me: I love my career choice! I have loved sign language since I was introduced to it at the age of 5. I love the Deaf community and the opportunity I have been given to share their language. I enjoy the exposure my career has given me to many different facets of life. I get to see the inner workings at times in the medical field. I have learned a bit about many topics that have expanded my horizons beyond anything I ever imagined interpreting could do. I love the connections we make with our Deaf consumers as well as our Hearing consumers. Nothing is more satisfying than walking away from an assignment feeling confident that communication took place as it should have. Not only does it empower the Deaf community, it educates many along the way.
Fun Facts: I am a happy mom of 3! I also have become a certified scuba diver—a very exciting sport! I run and Electrical Contracting Company with my husband and work with him a great deal in volunteer construction work where I am learning hands on electrical technician experience.
